By completing the SSI Assistant Instructor course, you will be qualified to:
- Teach Try Scuba, Scuba Skills Update & Perfect Buoyancy
- Teach Open Water Diver academic and pool/confined water sessions
- Complete online upgrades for Computer Diving, Marine Ecology and SSI Explorer Specialty Instructor
- Qualify to become a Specialty Instructor in some courses
- Complete the Instructor Training Course

What’s included: All learning materials, instructor time and breathing gases (for student and instructor).
Extra costs: Open Water site entry.
Requirements for completion:
- Read and complete sections 1-6 including reviews and assessments of the Instructor Training Course digital learning
- Pass all requirements and evaluations for Pracitcal Application Sessions 1-7 outlined in the instructor manual for the Instructor Training Course
- Complete and pass the Assistant Instructor final exam

18
Maximum Training Depth: 40m
Minimum Logged Dives:
75 (totalling at least 50 hours)
